DARWIN FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED
ON 19-21 NOVEMBER 2024, DARWIN PARTNERS MET IN TROMSØ TO SHARE UPDATES AND DISCUSS THE NEXT STEPS OF THE PROJECT.
Many productive discussions took place in Tromsø where all Consortium partners recently gathered for the first time hosted by the project coordinator NORCE.
After establishing deadlines and addressing administrative tasks, each Work Package (WP) presented its updates and outlined the next steps to drive the project’s progress.
Due to the highly technical scientific cooperation and the interoperability in terms of results in the different project phases, all partners engaged in productive debates regarding cross-Work Package activities.
A strategy to cooperate and join efforts with similar projects, both in terms of results and joint initiatives, has also been outlined to reach more comprehensive achievements for the sake of transparency and traceability in this pioneering research field.
In addition, the meeting included an exploitation workshop – where participants focused on defining the project’s main results – and a visit to NORCE laboratories where DARWIN research and tests are being conducted.
Driven by a true dedication to the project’s success, all partners took an active part and celebrated the remarkable progress made in the first eleven months.
The meeting served as a key opportunity for face-to-face collaboration, helping to consolidate the research by bringing all the elements together and maximizing DARWIN’s impact.
