DARWIN HOSTS A TWO-PART STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP ON TECHNICAL ADVANCES AND SOCIETAL IMPLICATIONS
TRACEABILITY AND NGT DETECTION METHODS: A TWO- PART STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP HAPPENING ON NOVEMBER 25-26, 2024 NORCE BRUSSELS OFFICE.
DARWIN Project is pleased to invite interested audience to the upcoming Two-Part Workshop on Traceability and NGT Detection Methods.
Happening from the 25 to the 26th of November in Bruxelles, this workshop will bring together scientists, policy experts, and key stakeholders to discuss the latest technical developments and societal implications surrounding NGT detection. The aim is to foster knowledge sharing between scientific, policy, and industry experts by encouraging exchange of questions, concerns, and needs. Participants can choose to attend one or both parts of the workshop, depending on their interests and expertise.
Part 1 – Workshop on Technical Advances
Scheduled for November 25 (13:00 – 17:00 CET), this session will focus on the technical and scientific aspects of NGT detection methods and digital traceability solutions. It is designed for scientists, technical experts, law enforcement, and policy representatives, featuring expert presentations and discussions on the latest advancements and the DARWIN methodology.
Audience: Scientists, technical experts, law enforcement, policy representatives, and everyone interested in the more technical aspects of NGT detection methods and digital traceability solutions
Part 2 – Workshop on Societal Implications
Taking place on November 26 (09:00 – 13:00 CET), this session will explore the societal and regulatory implications of NGT detection methods. Targeting stakeholders from industry, civil society, and policy sectors, it will address the opportunities, risks, and challenges posed by these technologies.
Audience: Stakeholders from industry, civil society, and policy sectors
Through presentations and discussions, the vision is to deepen participants’ understanding of the technical advances in NGT detection, while also addressing the societal and regulatory considerations linked to these methods.
